Anyone wanna help me out?

So, heres the deal: I'm 19, living on my own and am brokeeee. I have a 5.5gl, a 10gl, a 33gl, a 2.5 gl, a 15gl, and another 10gl, and I barely have enough to keep those up and running. If it wasnt for me selling guppies and WCMM fry and plant clippings, I probs wouldn't be able to keep them all up and running (they sorta support themselves). The last 10gl I mentioned only has some plants and rocks in it, no fauna, and I am wanting to turn it exclusively into an rcs tank and put in about 5 harlequins or so along with them. I am wondering if anyone is over-run with rcs and wouldnt mind giving me some to help me start my own "colony" or whatnot (not sure if the colony will ever become one with the harlequins in there, but I wouldn't mind finding out). I'm not sure how much they sell for on here, or how much shipping is, but if theres anyone that feels like being Santa a few months early and giving me a gift, that would be awesome.
Also, the LFS here always wants RCS, but they never have any in stock, so if I am able to breed them, I might be able to make my life a little easier financialy by selling them to the LFS.

You can PM me so others wont know that you are giving them to me so that they don't start asking you when you post on here.

Thanks in advance!

You have 5 tanks. Sell a couple of them and you will get enough to purchase RCS. I suggest selling the two smallest ones with lights and filter included. You should be able to surely get enough to purchase RCS. Even offer a trade.

Good luck.
I got 20 for 25.00 shipping a few months back and now I have about 60.

selling them tho sorry:(
you can often find them for a dollar a piece....pretty affortable
Next time your LFS has them, just buy one female and one male and you'll have tons soon after. :-D. You gotta learn to go with your budget.
LOl canadians have the greatest sense of humor. Its true. I bet you get some from 10 different people. If i save my money I could drive them to you.
The base line is, you want to maintain a number of tanks you can support, and when you can't, you see where you can cut corners.

There was a point where I was counting my pennies, and was conflicted between food, and buying stuff for my tanks, and I decided then that something needs to go, or I need to do something else. It was ridiculous to consider eating less for a hobby. I switched to low cost tank on my 10 gallon, got rid of some fish that I bred, got rid of some tanks, and started growing and selling some plants (not here). :D And I got a job ($14/hr, my own hours, yea baby!). So I now have enough money to burn! (Even though I should be saving for the future. :icon_roll ) Hence, the highballing on CRS. 8)
You can get RCS easier in BC than here in Ontario. Have you ever tried the BC forum?
Yeah, I tried BCAquaria, and the people are wanting $25 for 15 shrimp. Sorta ridiculous considering they sorta breed and take care of themselves. But still, if theres a Santa on this forum, I've been a good boy, and I've been nice, not naughty, so don't check your list twice.

Galaxy's are going extinct though, which sucks. I saw them once in my LFS, and was going to buy some, then the next day i saw a sticky note on the tank saying ALL GALAXY RASBORAS SOLD and i was crushed. If anyone on here has them and they have bred, I suggest you devote a few tanks to them and start spreading them around to others who want to breed them, or sell them to LFS so that way they arent buying wild caught ones. White Clouds don't bother shrimp at all either. Those are my favourite fish ever. I have four in with some cherries in a 5.5 and they get along nice. Also, I feed my White Clouds a huge variety of foods and the colours are amazing, totally complementing the shrimp.
you already have some RCS in your 5.5; why are you still asking for RCS from "Santa" ?
$25 for 15 is a good price. its $1.67 each and some people are selling it for $2.50 each not including shipping.

you may not be santa but you might just be sherlock holmes.
I dont mean anything bad, But you cant be poor, unless you have no way of making money
You having 5 tanks may make you poor, but you cannot have been poor if you were able to get 5 tanks.

Like I hinted at before, I would recommend selling a tank at this point, if you are earnest about being unable to afford even (more) RCS.

You have to remember: there's not such thing as a free lunch. You want something, you need to (1) pay for it, (2) trade for it, or (3) work for it.
Edited due to response from original poster...
The bunch of shrimp I have in that tank are 4 amanos that I was given from a friend that had to sell his tanks due to a move, and they haven't bred once, and probs won't in my freshwater set up, and the RCS I have is one, and its a male. I'm not sure how my posts were disturbing, especially the one that was quoted above, as it was a response to someones question regarding a shrimp safe fish, to which I answered that WCMM are good. My 33gl tank was given to me from my friend Jess when her parents split up and her dad had to take it down because it couldn't go into his condo, the 5.5, 15, and 10 were free, on this great day called "Garbage Day" when everyone in my neibourhood puts any unwanted items on their front lawn for anyone to take. I set up all these tanks because I love fish and nature and everything that it has to do with and represents, and I barely scrape by being able to afford them. Scrap my internet connection? It comes included in my rent. I didn't mean to offend anyone or try to "pull a quick one" or anything, I just simply asked if anyone felt like being nice. I got one response including a reasonable offer, and I thank them for it, and will probs go with it when i can get some more income.
To anyone that has been helpful, thank you.
