They are more pricier than the Hydor Koralia's but on the plus side they occupy a smaller footprint and sticks out a little less. I just got myself 2 Koralia 603's for a 110 gallon and they are HUGE! Still smaller than power heads but nevertheless - unattractive.

I curious if anyone here are using Tunze's nanostream.

I've had several in reef systems, great as is, but a simple mod can increase flow to about 1,100 gph or maybe even a lil more on 7 watts, not bad.
There 's also an easy mod for wider flow.
The tunzes are super reliable, love em.
Low watts/heat.
But like I said, great even as is.

Here's how I did mine.
This is wide flow mod, very easy.
Basically just shortening the tube, and then just pop original screen back on.
I used a rubber band for a guide/straightedge, and cutting wheel on dremel.

Now I actually did both mods on mine, stronger and wider flow.
Here's the stronger flow mod, a little trickier, but still no big deal, just basically cutting out the inner tube part.
The cool thing is Tunze recognizes these mods, and still back warranty.
