... I forgot most people have their tanks inside their houses.

I keep all mine in my garage, if I had a garage in Alaska I'd need a heater for every tank.

I have heard that fish tanks are pretty popular in Alaska. The winter is so long, cold and dark that it helps to liven up the home or office to have aquariums.

I just started working at ACF again on a normal bases and Tim said that Logan is moving or something ands been really busy or something so idk..

I wouldn't say fish tanks are super popular around here but there's enough to keep a fish store in business. We have one store for the majority of the state...

Happy to see you HappyNewMe, lol
How long have you been in Anchorage and where did you come from?
It's been 3 years this summer.
Came here from LA, and before that, originally - from Russia

As for "Happy" - the name influences the life, right? So, I'm setting myself up for all the good things!

Any idea from where or who?
Sure! One of the three:

http://www.liveaquaria.com/ (has the cheapest prices and great selection, but highest shipping to AK ($13.99 + 19.99 Alaska surcharge). Split by two, it's not as bad, especially when buying 10+ plants. Or, if split by three

www.freshwateraquariumplants.com/ This is where I got most of my plants from: selection smaller, prices quite a bit higher, but shipping is only flat $11.89.

Another looked promising: http://shop.plantedaquariumscentral.com/ They calculate shipping by weight/quantity, but still - the more is ordered, the better deal it becomes.
Soooo?
I am sort of running out of time... and, the weather is not getting any warmer

It's not bad here in Anchorage, but north of fairbanks gets 30 days of no sunlight.
