Anyone ever used www.1000bulbs.com

I wasn't sure if this was a great price or not but it was the cheepest I found

I have also noticed their competitive pricing
and they have really great customer service.
just avoid buying any Longstar brand bulbs.
Well I got 4 bulbs and after shipping it is still 4 dollars cheeper then buying 2 at Albany Aquairum
I bought a bunch of spiral 15w and 30w bulbs and had a great experience. Their customer service was excellent and the shipping was fast even though I had to wait for one item that was on backorder (they emailed me to let me know). I'd definitely buy from them again.
Well I can say at this point I think the customer service SUCKS. I ordered these lights on 8/7/07 and the website said they had them in stock. I recived an e-mail 3 days later saying "Sorry but we are out of stock, and we will ship when we get them" I replied saying that I would like an ETA and I think they should upgrade my shipping as the website didn't reflect what was in stock. The said they would not upgrade and that they would have the bulbs to me by the 23rd at the latest.

I sent an e-mail on the 20th asking if that ETA was still valid as if it wasn't I would like my money back - no response

I sent another e-mail today and they said they don't have any idea when they will ship, but we are past the time limet for refunds, which is completely retarded since they have never shipped me anything. I have contacted them via phone, however they offices were closed. This is NOT what I consider good customer service.

Wow. WAY different from my experience.
My thoughts I could be wrong, but I was always told that a company cannot charge your credit card until the item was shipped.

If this is the case, call and cancel the order, call your credit card company and dispute the charge as items never received. They won't be able to prove they shipped the items because they never did due to being on back order.
I bought some bulbs from them (couldn't find them anywhere else), they did send and email saying there wasn't any in stock. A week later, I got an email saying they shipped (they charged my account when they shipped). Got the bulbs in great condition, I would definitly buy from them again.
As a matter of fact, I told a work mate about them and he had a good experiance buying from them as well.

No more e-mailing, call them and ask to talk to a manager or person in charge.
Well, they fail my "what do they have in T5" test.

Next vendor.

Although, some of their cold cathode bulbs look really interesting.

Too bad these bulbs are lower than 4100K.
