Anyone consider using Florafelt for backfround wall planting

Cool stuff, don't think it translates well to a tank background. Plus very not cheap. For that price you can find some pretty awesome 3-d foam aquarium backgrounds. Or grab some spray foam and make one yourself with some planting pockets. That's actually on the top of my projects to-do list right now.

I agree that planting backgrounds is cool, but there are better DIY options. Very limited in size options to match tank dimensions, and much of the price you are paying is for the effort they went through to design the product to keep water inside them and off of your wall/floor. These would look awesome on a wall behind/above the tank, though.
