Hey there,
I'm completely new to the aquarium and tanks. I have a 10 gallons tank. The thing is, can you guys suggest me the best lightings for my tanks. And also, is it necessary to install the lights according to the fish that you keep?

I am old-school, and just now getting back into planted tanks after a very long break. I am finding that LEDs are the way to go (they have come a LONG way from where they were a decade ago).
If you want a quick referral, I can tell you that the Finnex LED fixtures are good. The "stingray" version is suited to shorter tanks (like your 10 gal) and the "planted +" better for taller...yielding in roughly "moderate lighting" for aquarium plants.

I would not be so concerned about selecting lighting based on fish unless you are selecting specialized species and/or don't have any hiding places/retreats for your fish.
