Any freshwater planted people in Nashville?

I'd love to find someone locally to trade clippings etc. I HATE throwing them out, and get irritated with CL people. I'd rather give them or trade with someone who appreciates plants for plants, and enjoys the hobby, 'ya know?

I'm in Hendersonville! But I only keep pretty rare species. But, I wouldn't mind having a local buddy to talk shop with from time to time! Feel free to PM me if you want!

I also belong to TankOutlaws.com.....plenty of people on that site who would truly appreciate any of your clippings, and would probably be interested in trading stems or clippings with you!

My first post on this site. I live in Hermitage and would love to take some clippings if anyone has extras.

On a side note - I need to re-home an aggressive flame gourami. Free to a suitable good home. Will be happy to meet in the Nashville area.
I right there with you mgood, I hate to waste my trimmings of the plants I've got. I am in Columbia new to the aquarium hobby but I have a good variety of plants from the LFS here, Aquatic Critter and just a small amount from eBay, which I have found out that some of the sellers have excellent quality plants when others have poor. But overall I've got some cool plants that look great!
I live in Dickson just outside nashville. We have at least 10 tanks up and most are planted.
back from the dead, I live in Clarksville and myself have 4 planted tanks. Could possibly work out trades too! I also know many others in my area that have or want to have plants, and I can help you move some clippings possibly :bounce:
Hehe i keep stuffing plants in different tanks trying not to throw any out. What kind of plants are you growing? Mostly have low to med light plants here. Vals, Crypts, Hygro, Swords, Aponogetons, Java Ferns, and a few stem plants.
I had so many crypts, I started giving them away in plant packages. I have Rotala, Bacopa, Glosso, D sag, diplidis diandra, hygro aungustifolia, echinidorus angustifolia, anubia, buce, vals, hygro sunset, java fern, java trident, tiawan moss, peacock moss, I have on order coming this week, some xmas moss, erio crinureum, dwarf water lettuce, I just got yesterday some DHG belem and blyxa japonica. I'm sure I'm missing some things here as well. I am going to be moving my heavily planted 40 breeder to my 75 gallon in the next 2 weeks so I may have trimmings at that time, but for sure when things start to settle in I will post what I have. I like to exchange my plants for club donations at TO, but might be up for some trading as well.
I'm in Old Hickory, Tn.

I would love to learn more about keeping plants. I have some that do well, some that don't and some that get eaten. I am not sure what are the good plants to have and don't want to spend good money just to have them die. If you are needing to get rid of cuttings then you must have the touch. Feel free to contact me anytime if you have an over flow. By the way, I have baby angelfish in the hundreds so If you want to trade I am up for it.
