Any e-cig users?

I had been considering buying one for a while. Well I woke up this morning with an awful feeling in my throat which I believe can be nothing but the ill-effects of cigarettes. Scared me to death, god I hope i goes away soon. So I went straight to my local e-cig store and they set me up with an ego starfire kit, a tank, and some juice. Tastes good and I already feel better about myself lol.

I guess it's too early to call myself a non-smoker, but I am determined to be one!

Right on man they helped be quit altogether... For five months and then well, relapse. Heh.

Sent from my HTC Evo 4G
You can do it! Ex-smoker here, 10+ years clean.

Quit the 1st time for 8 months and relapsed under pressure.

Quit again for good 10+ years ago and feel great!!

Think of all the money you're going to have in your pocket.;)
Awesome, thanks for the support guys! It'll be nice not to have to go outside and smoke in these SC summers too lol!
I tried the Volcano e-cig with tube tank. its a bit rough on your throat at first but you will get used to it. I almost quit smoking and was down to 2 cigs a day from a pack a day. but i ended up buying those roll your own cigarettes after 3 months on the e-cig. :(

I would recommend the Lavatube or inferno kit from Volcano e-cigs. dont buy those cheap disposable e-cigs they suck. invest in a good e-cig.
Cool thanks Yamaz, I'll check 'em out. I have actually had the cheap ones before so I knew better this time.

Didn't they just outlaw the rolling machines in the tobacco stores? Now you'll have to buy your own machine. Still way cheaper though.

I think you can still rent their machine, but I stuff my own tubes. Cost me $18 for almost 3 cartons

Wow that's really good. Few of the guys I work with are paying like $11 a carton, which is still better. But I'm going to continue trying to get off of the cancer sticks while I still can, I'm only 27. Only had 3 real ones today. The real test will be at work on Monday, when everyone asks me to go smoke lol.
wow $11 a carton. i pay $25-$30 in hawaii. still alot cheaper than $8-$10/pack marlboro

Good Luck I've been smoking for 38 years now and regetted starting for probably 20 of them.
I quit in november! (although I still have a cigar every so often maybe 3 so far this year)

Check with your local health department they may offer FREE patches/gum/etc to get you to quit.

They sent me two weeks worth of patches for free here in Florida and I wasn't even using a patch after about 8 days.

I have heard mixed things about the e-cigs some people say they work for that others find they end up wanting to smoke more...

Either way best of luck and keep us posted!!!!

(oh heads up after you quit be prepared for all of that "ill-effects" to come out....that will really get you to quit)

Thanks I'll look into that. And ya, I'm not looking forward to coughing up the years of nastiness lol.

Yea the first day of patches was rough, the next day after I quit, I don't think I will EVER forget what I coughed up the next two weeks while I was brushing EVER!!!

Thankfully when I puff on a cigar from time to time I don't inhale (I know still bad for me but when you're with the guys playing poker well it just isn't right for them to be having one and me not to have one :icon_cool )
