Well, after I soaked some anubias in a container with potassium permanganate, some of the leaves have "see through" edges that are browning.

The solution I made was roughly a dark-medium purple, for about 15 min.

Will the plant be ok, or would it be better to grow it emersed with a plastic baggie (for humidity) until the plant recovers?

I have done this before and more than likely the leaves will mealt away. Dont know why it does this but it happens. I am guessing if there is the slightest cut/break in the leaf the solution gets "inside" the leaf.

It will recover though! All my petite nanas are shooting new leafs now.

Is it possible I used too strong of a solution?
