I purchased a snow white last xmas. It melted in transit because of the cold. I was able to save a small part of the rhizome. I put it in my emersed set up under T5HO lights. The first two leaves that came in were white. The second two leaves had a marbled look with some white but mostly green.

Can anyone explain why the new leaves are not white? Does anyone have some information they could share on this plant?

A pure white plant has no chlorophyll, and cannot manufacture the sugars etc that a plant needs to survive. The best way to have white (or yellow) leaves is a blend, marbling, spotted, striped etc. that includes some green areas, too.
While the plant is recovering I would let it grow some green leaves. But once it is doing better I would cut off the pure green leaves and let the partially colored leaves do the work.
