If the rhizome is still green and firm I would trim off all of the leaves and roots. Then attach the rhizome to a piece of hardscape that is in moderate/low light in your tank; I used to use thread or mono-filament fishing line but now I like a couple of drops of SuperGlue Gel to attach rhizomes. Fertilizer normally, new leaves should appear in a couple of weeks. Let us know how you do!
