Ive had plants shoot up amd break surface to flower, your flower sprout not growing any taller?

Sent from my DROID X2
Mine do that every couple of months, always underwater.
anubias flower under water
now, tell me how you got it to do that XD
Actually, I have it under a finnex ray 2 @ 18". It was completely covered by sword leaves and purple cabomba and when I chopped some leaves away and moved the cabomba I saw it.
Anubias will flower in all kinds of lighting conditions. Mine always flower best in lower light with no CO2.
Mine flowered for its 1 year anniversary since being dropped into my tank. I did cut the rhizome in half a week earlier to propagate it, that might have triggered it.

Pretty common for them to flower, here are a few of mine

If you can get them to flower emersed you can propagate them easily.
