Yep. Syndodontis multipunctatus indeed. Called the cuckoo cat because it spawns simultaneously with species of mouth-brooding cichlids so those cichlids will take care of their offspring... :eek5:

It's a Synodontis Lucipinnis........ also known as dwarf Petricola.
I think both the Lucipinnis and Petricola (neither of which I could ever hope to tell from each other) have a white leading edge of the dorsal fin. This fish, like the Multi, only has the light edge on the back side of the dorsal fin.

For the OP's sake, I hope this is a Lucipinnis or Petricola, some of the greatest fish I have ever owned (which ever one I owned, that is).
