I was in Woodcraft today and happened to notice that they sell small to medium size pieces of Manzanita driftwood. I picked up a cool looking piece for my 2.5 gallon tank for less than $6.

You can also buy them online: http://www.woodcraft.com/family.aspx?familyid=665 Although then you can't pick out what you get. All I'm sayin' is that if you have a Woodcraft nearby, it might be worth checking out. I'll post a pic of the piece I got when I get a chance.

They do have a few stores not too far from me. Do they sell manzanita branches? The link you gave showed manzanita roots.
try looking in florists i found some in there, just ask if they have it if not they may be able to get it for you, plus its cheaper than from a fish shop :)
nice find though, did they have branches? IMO, burls are very hard to put into an scape.

woodcraft is an awesome place though, i used top go quite frequently until my MTS got really bad.
