I've searched all over and haven't found anything about what I want to do. I have a rock(about 3" round) in the back corner of my tank with java/christmas moss mixture clumped on top of it. I never tied it down or anything, just kind of wedged it into the corner and it attached itself. I want to attach an African Water Fern to the same rock and was wondering if one plant will smother out the other, or if they can live in harmony on one rock?

They'll coexist. I have Bolbitis and moss doing really well together on my driftwood.

My main concern is with how small the rock is. It's only about 3" around.
