OK so it's been a good couple weeks since my newbness busted out but I'm at a loss and the interweb aint helping.

What and Where exactly do I need to get and go for proper Ammonia drops to do a fishless cycle.

Sadly I went into the chain store and very specifically told them what I wanted and they with supreme confidence handed me a NH3 refill bottle for water testing.

Worst part is I had to stop and think...so I believe them this time?!

So here I am...asking...what exactly do I need to get to drop into the tank cause :iamwithst

also, Diana already did an excellent guide to a fishless cycle that's linked in this post http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/8...nia-help-cycle-fishless-tank.html#post8629217. I usually use the dr. Tim's, as I'm SURE it's aquarium safe, where buying 100% ammonia for cleaning always left a little bit of doubt in my mind considering the "flex" in labeling laws here in the US - it may say pure ammonia, but it's possible they've added a surfactant or something to make it a better cleaner.

Has anyone here bought a certain brand at a chain store and found it to be safe after using it for a fishless cycle?
Yes, I bought Ace Janitorial Strength Formula Ammonia. It contains 10% ammonium hydroxide. Worked well with Tetra SafeStart Plus.

Downside is that it comes in quart bottles which is far more than you need and was fairly expensive.
