American-flag Fish eating my wisteria (I'm whining)

I love my flags, but a a month or so ago I bought some fairly full-grown Wisteria and the world became a better place. I just noticed them eating it. I know they love hair algae (which I don't have) but you can add Wisteria to that list. I have to pull it out before I lose it all.

Aquabid. I have 6 wild ones. Surprisingly enough, I found some locally last month too. But they were very much emaciated. Another reason to breed fish and trade off to the LFS.
