Amazon swords placement

I am planning to place them in the foreground cause i have 5 small amazons. Will it be okay? Please reply! :3

you mean background? they get pretty big..
Theyll grow straight out the top of a two foot tank if you let them.

No, it will not be okay, unless you want to obscure everything else in the tank. Since you did not tell us what size the tank is nor what species of sword you are planting, I am going to generalize and say that you will regret using swords as foreground plants and have a large mess when you uproot them to move or thin them out. There are some smaller sword varieties, but the common Echinodorus amazonicus is not a foreground plant.
Its echinodorus amazonicus. they are runners and about 4-5 inch tall now. severe pruning can dwarf them right?
