Hello,
I just recently upgraded from a 12 gallon high to a 55 gallon tank and my amazon sword plant that was flourishing in my 12 gallon has now got leaves that are starting to yellow and becoming transparent. I was fertilizing weekly but have stopped for the time being. I was thinking of cutting off the leaves that are turning colors and hoping it will bounce back. Are there are other things I can do to help the plant thrive?

It's melting, it probably happened because of a new tank and a lack of fertelizers, cut the leaves and it will eventually adjust, either stop the fertelizers or keep them going, thats the best way to prevent this, also Swords are heavy root feeders, so make sure you have a substrate that can support these plants, i.e. Dirt, Eco complete, etc...
