my question is why are my amazon frogbit roots turning to a reddish tint. when i bought them they were white. they are healthy and full. i will post a pic when i get a chance.

It's possible you have Red Root Floaters. Though, Frogbit root coloring can definitely vary.

Ok guys I just checked on the roots and they are less red more brownish white. Wonder what it could be, do they collect debris easily

ok thank you for the help at least its still amazon in origin. but the guys that sold it to me need to do better labeling as thats what they sold it to me as and had a lot more for sale.

Those are frogbits. They can indeed collect debris on their roots which would increase the brown color but I've had ones with clean brownish roots too. Nothing bad about that IME.
