For about 3 weeks since I added fish, my one platy and my group of celestial pearl danios have been hiding, and darting away whenever I came near the tank, and my otos have been suctioned to the wall and perfectly still all day, hardly moving. Until now, my tank has had only plants. It was pretty densely planted with a collection of swords, myrio, and some saggitaria. 15 minutes ago, I added two nice big pieces of drift wood and suddenly my CPDs are swimming all over the place, my otos are swimming around the tank eating everything they can find, and my platy is out and about. Maybe they feel more safe with a more dense aquascape, but this is great.

That's generally the case. It's great to have an active tank.

Thanks, I've been racking my brain on how to settle the fish in. The title may be a little dramatic, but hey, I was pumped.
