I have a juvenile sae and maybe 50 neocaridina babies. Am I just getting lucky that the sae is not eating them?

You've got the true SAE. I'm sure your fish has a black blotch on its abdomen. I had one years ago and it was a great algae eater. It did grew to about 5 inches though.

Yeah I was pretty sure it was a true sae. I know they grow larger and am planning to put it in my 40 then find a bigger place for it later on. It is an amazing algae eater and loves black beard algae
