Any one use or have had experience with a fertilizer called "Tropica Aquacare". This fertilizer came with the plant package I bought from freshwateraquariumplants.com and they say it is the best all around fertilizer they have ever seen. Any thoughts?

It's really the same old TMG with a new label. Tropica made some changes in their marketing for plant ferts plus a price increase. There's very many people that really like TMG for a trace fert. There's more info about Tropica's AquaCare line at their site. They have root capsules and a + version of Plant Nutrition liquid that has nitrogen and phosphorus.

Being new to this thing and this being my first planted tank, if I continue to use this fertilizer is there anything else I should be dosing?
:icon_smil I can't answer your question. I have no idea what you are or what you aren't doing now with your aquarium. I don't know what size you have or anything about your lighting, CO2, etc.

If you have low light and no CO2, this product may be all you need to be dosing. If you have high light and CO2, you will need to add the macronutrients.

The only thing that I know to do is to give you to a link by Steve Hampton about macro and micro nutrients. Tropica's Plant Nutrition liquid is a micro nutrient solution. I mentioned about their + products that contain some macro nutrients as well. This was on Tropica's site.
