The tank (75g) has been running three weeks, fish in it for two, and the plants have been in the tank a week. Ammonia has been steady at 0 for over a week, and nitrites are falling (even without water changes). I dosed with ferts for the first time last night. I am seeing positive results, by that I mean that I am seeing growth in the plants, and that they aren't just wilting and dying.

But I am seeing this:



Now, is this algae something that I need to take care of, or will adding some oto's take care of this for me?

look under brown algae... i think they're really protozoans of some sort.

Doesn't look that bad. You could probably wipe or lightly brush it off.
