Algae problem

I have algae problem keep growing in my tank and on HC
my tank is 6 weeks old using 2x15w for 8 hours a day
using DIY CO2 with powerhead diffuser
i start adding flourish evey week after 50% water change

Try keeping the light off for 3-4 days and cut the flourish for a few weeks. The algae might be taking up the nutrients before plants.

yes, a blackout should solve this problem, also increase co2 concentration

blakeout will remove the existing algae but i think you should try and resolve larger problem
the plants may not be gettting required dose of co2 and you should use liquid fert alternate days
