Algae or sludge?

Is this algae or sludge? It's growing on my dwarf grass rapidly and I need to get rid of it pronto!

It's Blue-Green Algae (BGA). Technically not an algae, but a Cyanobacteria. I'm not going to get into finding links for you, but this should get you started. You should be able to find 100 different posts now that you know what it is!
