Hello!
I set up this tank 4 weeks back and from the past week I am struggling with this algae. I remove it, and the next day its there. It's hair-like but gets easily dislodged and is brown. However some of it has grown all enlaced with the plants and is very difficult to remove.
It is a regular 60p tank.
I added livestock to the tank only this week :
12 neon tetras
2 ottos
3 cherry shrimps
2 amano shrimps
Here is some other information:
Ammonia 0 ppm
Nitrite 0 ppm
Nitrate 10 ppm
pH 6.8 - 7.2
TDS 150 ppm
High tech with DIY CO2 and Aquaclear 20 filtration with Seachem Matrix.
Is this diatom? Is this much of it normal? How should I control it?
Any help would be great!
Thanks in advance!
