African butterfly fish

I was thinking of adding African butterfly fish to my ropefish tank, but I'm worried about lighting. It's 4x39W T5HO on 345 litre tank (120x48x60 cm) 5-10 cm over the tank. They are said to be shy and not like high light. Is my light something that you would consider high for them? Everything else seems more than fine, but the lighting...
P.S. I'm talking about ropefish playground from my signature.

My tank is also brightly lit but not with strong lights. As long as they have a dark corner or some floating plants they should be fine. Mine hangs out at the back of the tank throughout the day where it is dark. But it seems to have gotten used to the light and often comes out during feeding time :)

They always make me think a large moth fell in the tank.
Mine really appreciated floating plants. If your surface is clear it might have a difficult time.
Keep in mind once the Ctenopoma gets bigger, the blue gularis (some of the smaller sized congos and krib fry too) may be in danger. Their mouths extend pretty big.

But as for your question, I've seen people with them in brightly lit tanks and your tank looks to have good shaded spots they would love to hide in.

Well, kribensis fry was never planned, but it's odd that some of them got alive from living with ropes. Right now I don't have any congos after CO2 failure. Never though that blue gularis might get eaten though. They seem so big. I'll be observing if bushfish won't be going after them. Right now bushfish are in quarantine/growout, they're snack sized for the gularis :p seems like roles might be changing, I'll be careful.

I see that most of you think, that butterfly fish shouldn't have problems. Worst case - I'll add some floating plants. Thank you all for the input!

I have one, and it is such a fun fish to have!

Mine doesn't seem to mind the lights - despite a little over 1/2 of its tank being shaded - it patrols the spots that are open...
They always make me think a large moth fell in the tank. Ugly bastards.
I always thought they had a neat body shape. btw that's one huge moth ya got there!
