Hi all,
Yes, I, like many of us on this forum could not resist the Petco $1G sale.....grabbed a 10G....what should I do with it? I'm thinking species only.....I want something "out of the box"......suggestions PALEEEEZE!

I'd get a school of 8 Glow light tetras and a bristlenose pleco. If you drop the bristlenose you can up the school to 10.

All my other out of the box ideas are fish that need bigger tanks. Anableps anableps. Pike livebearers.


Ooh, how about a tiny juvenile bichir, and guppies and endlers, see if the guppies can out produce the predation

Species tank with corydoras of your choice.... this way you can breed some and buy more stuff. They are always in demand.

Bag of ice and 12 pack of beer.

How about shrimp. That nice size for them.

Or other small fish you can keep in a group, bigger than 6 individuals, in a tank that small.

Plant it heavily with low light plants.

And as far as thinking out of the box I would have gotten the breeder 40 instead.
