Hi all

Ok so got my CO2 hooked up decided to splash out on a Ph controller as well to monitor CO2 output.
Connected everything up yesturday (Very Pimping)......

However from everything i have read says more Co2 = lower PH however after a day running of the PH controller according to the Controller the PH is increasing (It started at 7.30 and by the evening it was sitting at 7.89 i set cut off on controller at 7).

What could be wrong I'm confused...

Hmmm... that is an odd one... I'm stumped too because yes, you would expect it to drop because adding CO2 creates carbonic acid, and acids are lower in the pH scale. Did you add anything else to your tank at the same time?

is the c02 actually running? if its being controlled by the ph controller their should be a solenoid you hear clicking on when the ph controller turns it on.. are there bubbles? how is ur c02 system plumbed into your tank
