Hey y'all. I'm looking into POSSIBLY starting up a low tech utricularia graminifolia bowl (half submersed, half emersed) and I was wondering if any of you have grown it Walstad-style in a bowl? Is it happy without flow, or is this a fool's dream? I know that it can be grown without CO2 (although obviously it would grow faster with it), but not sure if I need a filter or not.

Still in the planning phase, I can use this bowl for something else if this won't work. Would love some perspectives from folks who have grown UG (it's my stretch plant this year, I really want to learn how to grow it).

(I ordered a RO/DI system so I'll be able to have a lot of control over water parameters, and I plan to use sand as a substrate, because I read that UG likes nutrient poor substrate).
