ADA Aqua soil II vs Eco-Complete? Wanting to use one of these products in a low tech tank, 29 gallon, with no ferts or diy Co2 injected.

Can anyone give me a comparison?

Plants are:
Rotala Indica
Wisteria
Hygro sunset
Java fern
Sagittaria subulata
Cryptocoryne balansae -1
Anubias - 1
4 Leaf Clover
Vals
Ludwiga repen
Moss
Foxtail, green
Foxtail, frill
Star grass

This may be in the wrong area. Posted after checking out Homers thread on ADA Aqua soil II. Didn't notice until after posting that I was not in substrate category.

i have had both in my 29g medium light tank. the aquasoil spanks the eco hands down as far growth was concerned. the eco was more user friendly though.
x3, but i prefer type I aquasoil than type II. I've heard mixed reviews with type II... Either way, aquasoil beats eco complete by a landslide :)

How many bags of each did you use?
The eco is more user friendly because it won't leach?

i used 2 bags of the eco - wasn't quite enough, could of used another inch or so. and no not leaching issues, it seems to hold down plants better.

2 - 9 liter bags of AS is just about right.
