Hello folks

I've been shopping for Amazonia substrate locally but couldn't find any dealer. There are only a few places where I can order online and it's $28.00 for 9 liter bag! is this the typical price? Any recommendation on where to find the best deal?

Also, how many of these 9 liter bags would cover a 36 x 15.5 footprint tank? (normal 40 gallon tank)

Please help. Thanks.

Thank you folks.
I also see that they carry Amazonia II, I'm wondering what's the difference and which one is better for keeping shrimps.

That tank takes 3.6 liters per cm of substrate thickness. So, for 2 inch total thickness, or 5 cm, you would need about 18 liters of substrate, or two bags.

Amazonia II breaks down faster then Amaazonia I, Some with really hard water have had problems with cloudy water using AS II. Jeff at ADG recommends AS I as it lasts longer and people haven't had the cloudy water problem.
