I've bought most my stuff from sellers on this forum since I had invested in CO2. I'd love to have the time to go to more GVAC meetings but being an hour away and having little kids makes things difficult. I really miss the Michigan Aquatic Plant Group forum which consisted of a lot of local Lansing residents. I'd love to trade trimmings locally if anyone is around East Lansing.

Curious where everyone goes to get their plants. LFS stores cost a fortune and really only carry basic plants. I love Blue Fish but the plants are usually gone as fast as they come in. Preuss in Lansing is great but it's a pretty long drive for me. Anyone have much luck online plant shopping?
The Pets Supplies Plus on Plymouth Road (Ann Arbor) is a great place to get plants. When new orders arrive, the selection and quality is awesome! They also frequently stock amano shrimp, killiefish, banjo catfish and appistos. Call ahead to verify though.

I live in the lansing area, and I'm currently looking to get rid of plants in the next couple of months as I deconstruct my tanks before I move for college. If you're interested, I will be looking to get rid of some Hygrophila corymbosa var. angustifolia in the next week or so.

I'd love to try some. You could try to take a load of plants to Preuss for store credit. You won't get much but might be worthwhile.
