I have otos, nerites, and Amano shrimp in mine, and mine scratches even easier than normal acrylic tanks. No problems with any of those guys.
Acrylic Safe Maint Crew
I have a 55 gal acrylic tank that I picked up off CL. Spent a lot of time buffing it to get back in decent shape & really hope not to have to do that again :icon_evil It's been running for awhile and needs some maintenance crew for algae control. I know plecos could scratch up the acrylic and am looking for some acrylic friendly/safe maintenance crew. Otos, nerites, etc.?

I agree on otos, amanos and olive nerites. Great cleaners and no damage at all.
