I've been tossing some extra plants into my cichlid tank to see what they leave alone, and what actually grows in the cooler, harder water of that tank.

One of those things was a small mass of java moss and java fern.

It's been about a month now, and in that time the moss and ferns have grown together into this strange 'rope/string' conglomeration. The entire thing is nothing but plants, and I'm wondering what I could do that would be cool with it.

It came about from moss strands floating over to where the air stone was. The air bubbles would cause the moss to rotate, which twisted it into this rope like structure.

I'd like to leave it as a rope, but try to incorporate that rope into a cool *something* in the tank.
