One of my tetras has become rather fat, and I hope it is because she is a she, and will lay eggs soon. I hope the fish is not sick, but unfortunately I don't think I am going to be able to tell until it is too late one way or the other. The rest of the tank is perfectly healthy, and the water is right on. Should I quarantine this fish, or just see what happens?

Looks like a typical adult female black neon. It doesn't look like dropsy - she's most likely full of eggs. If she's eating normally there's nothing to worry about.

thanks, seems to be doing everything normally just a lot fatter than the others.
