So I had this idea ... Which I have to admit right away I don't possess the skills to make happen. But I thought I would share in case someone felt so inclined to create.
I have seen online different Fert calculators and also bioload calculators.
What if there was a substrate calculator? Maybe you could choose different options as far as color, your dosing regime, whether or not you can handle initial ammonia leaching, cost, etc etc. and then the options would tell you what is the best selection
Or maybe even it could be a backwards calculator that you enter your current regime and it told you what you need to change to adapt to the substrate you want.
Anyway just a wild idea. I don't know how much work it would actually take to make this happen...
