I have an inline diffuser, and where the air line attaches to the diffuser has a little ring / thread for a tight seal. During my last cleaning, that ring broke into pieces (2 years old).

Do I need to replace the diffuser because of that small piece?

Its possible it can still work for sure, you can go as far as using a very small zip tie if need be. However we do have in stock the tubing grip nuts in packs of 2 @$2 plush shipping USPS. Otherwise as long as the connections is tight and leak free it should work no problem.
