Just added 13 rumy nose last night. I'm going to try to get pictures once they acclimate and color up.

I'm also going to get rid of my female angels. They're spawning once a week or so and when they do, they take over half the tank and I never get to see any of the other fish. I'm going with a group of males because I like the look of my current males better than my females.

A couple shots of my pretty apistogramma sp. hongsloi. They're growing up and coloring up. Apparently this one wanted to be photographed

I think my gold rams have hit puberty. Both have pimples this week. I'll be keeping a close eye on them to make sure it doesn't turn into something more serious.

My newest addition. stiphodon elegens or elegant goby. I got a pair, but the female didn't make it. I will be getting a replacement female in the near future. (please excuse the BBA)

Did you just take the frame off of that 80 gallon tank? Is that all you did? By the way, the tank looks really good.

Thanks! It was coming along until I incorrectly applied the 1-2 Punch and killed off half my fish and made my carpet melt away.

Total fish loss is 1 BNP, 3 zebra oto, 2 reg oto, 7 rumy nose and 2 paleatus cory

I left the hydrogen peroxide for the 1-2 punch in too long and then I overdosed excel after that

Big update. Lots of changes.

I've moved since failing at the 1-2 punch. Moved everything over and did a large rescape. Moved about a year ago. Since then, my gold rams died (bad genetics I believe). Lost an angel (ate something bad and bloated) and I acquired a pair of WC atabapo sevrums. Being that they were wild, they saw my rumynose tetras as a tasty snack. So now I'm down to 1 of them. I just picked up a HUGE piece of driftwood and finally got around to adding it to the tank last night. Did a big plant pull which resulted in this thread.

So my tank went from this:

I still have some planting to do on the left side to fill in the bare spots but I wanted to let it clear up more before I do. Pulling plants in a dirt tank (especially crypts) makes for a mess. :icon_twis

I do have this to use to fill in the bare spots so I think I'll be set :hihi:
