Just about ready to start increasing stock in my new planted 80 gallon and looking for any suggestions to the list I've got along with sizes of groups to target
We'd like a community tank with a few centerpiece fish
Our water is high pH out of tap (~8.2) but we will likely try and get everything local here from shops that use same tap water (coastal southern california so fortunately lots of LFS options!). Temp currently it set at 77 and I've got swords, vals, anubias, crypts, frogbit in tank currently - no CO2.
Initial thoughts:
Zebra Danios - have 11 in there currently
Tetras - we like a few different varieties - bleeding heart, congo, neon, glowlight, rummynose
Corydoras - adolfos, julii, pepper, sterbai are ones we like
Otocinclus once tank a bit more established (maybe 15 or so?) - initially were thinking about BN pleco but read they might not be best choice for cleanup
Centerpiece fish:
Gouramis - like dwarfs, honey, pearl, and a few other varieties (just worried about aggressiveness)
Angels - same as above with aggressiveness
thanks!
