Hey guys, hope you're all having a fine Monday.

Anyways, I have 8 tiger barbs in a 20 planted long. They started off aggressive, but now are as chill as can be. I was thinking of adding some Zebra Danios to the mix. I heard they get along fine and usually just mind their own business. Should I? If so, how many?

Thanks a lot.

I had tiger barbs and giant danios in a 55 gallon. They got along fine, but I really wouldn't put danios in a tank smaller than 40 gal. they are waaay too active for a smaller tank.

With 8 tiger barbs you are probably pretty closed to stocked. Some of mine a over 2 in and I think they are still going to get a bit bigger.

You certainly can pull of zebra danio in a 3 foot tank. Mine are more than happy.
But as stated, 8 tiger barbs are pretty much at the limit. You could try exchanging a few of the tigers for rosy barbs, or swap for some other colour variations of tiger barb if you need more variety.

In my experience a school of tigers on a light substrate is all the colour and pretty you could want, and I have recommended them more than once on here before.
