Hello just purchased a used 72g bowfront and would like to set up a planted SA blackwater tank for Discus. I already have 4-54watt T5 ballest that were going in another project but decided to go LEDs on the reeftank.
My questions are:

1. Should I go ahead and build the canopy and set it up for 4 bulbs?
2. I have the option of wiring each ballest seperate to a timer. This would allow me to run 1 tube for a full 10hrs, 2 tubes for 6hrs, and the last for 2-4hrs peek.

Tank will be mostly swords. This is a rough description. If you have any questions or suggestions feel free to ask away!! :fish:
