Hi Everyone. I got my 5lbs co2 tank from craigslist and the person said it has 60% co2 left. It's been running for about 3 months in my tank with about 3bps. How do I know when to refill it??? Thanks.

You really didn't describe your setup. Here is a bit of various answers to your question.

How much pressure is shown on your high pressure gauge?

Full, they are ~800 to 900 psi depending on temperature. http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/p...ttle-pressure-relation-room-temperatures.html

There is a tare weight stamped near the top of your cylinder. You can weigh it. Then subtract the tare weight and you will know how many pounds/ounces are left.

When they are near empty, the pressure will fall sharply.

Some people refill them somewhere around 200 to 500 psi to avoid "end of tank dump."

Others run them until empty.

Some people with pH controllers can run them until they are empty.

Several of us use good metering valves and dual stage regulators and run them until empty.
