I am just trying to grow pants on half of the 55 tank. Trying to grow java fern and have dwarf water lettuce as floaters (will block some light).
55 dimensions- 48 1/4 x 12 3/4 x 21 so its 24 x 12 3/4 x 21.
I currently have 24" Finnex Ray II Ultra Slim LED DS - Dual 7000k on top of a glass top. There is also a 75w halogen bulb 32" from tank bottom.
I am trying to grow 3 thick bushes of java fern, currently i have brown algae, I have not added the java fern yet tho.
are my lights good??
