Ok i have a 55 gallon tank that i want to add a glass canopy top i made a acrylic 3/8 thick top but now its bending anyway each side is 23 1/4, by11 1/2, so i would need 2 of them. the tank is 48 1/4 by 12 3/4 it has a middle plastic brace. does any1 know where to get this from any place around here has to order it and it will be over 50$. i tryed a few sites like drsfostersmith and a few other but they dont have it can some1 help me out thaxs.

I have one that came with my 55. It has never been used. I would be willing to sell it to you if you are interested, but I was figureing on getting $50.00 for it which would include shipping.
It is the one piece kind.

Any decent pet store will have them. PetCo, PetsMart should have them in stock.

A standard 55 gallon tank takes two canopies. Here is a link at Drs. Foster and Smith. You will need 2 each of the 24".
