So my tanks are getting a bit chilly this season, down to 66-68 and I want to bump them up a few degree to at least 72-74. I have a box of heaters, mostly all 50W and all 20g tanks I need to warm. Should I do 2 heaters on each one, or would 1 be enough? I also have a big 150W heater, would that be too much to use?

150 way to much for a shrimp tank. You can use 2-50 and be ok in each tank. It all depends on how much more your raising tank temp vrs room temp if it is only a couple degree difference 1 will be fine. But if it is 5 degree or more use 2.
