Hello everybody!

I'm new here. My name is Andy, I'm from germany and wanted to introduce myself by showing you my current project. It's a 50l riparium, tank size is lxdxh 45x36x31cm, but there're just 12-13l water in it.
For a long time I was planing to setup a new riparium after I have ripped down my first one in 2011, finaly I've done it. And it was really fun, from the first to the last step. The tank is running for 10 weeks now and to see how it evolves is still fun. Here are some details:

Technic:
- Dennerle 50l Scapers tank
- 2x Dennerle 5 W LED lights
- Dennerle external filter 360l/h
- Trixie fogger
- Pressurized CO2

Hardscape:
- ca. 15kg Ohko
- Branches of rosemary

Substrate:
- Oliver Knott Soil
- JBL Sansibar white

Submersed plants:
- Eleocharis pussila
- Anubias nana "Petite"
- Cryptocoryne parva
- Bucephalandra motleyana "Melawi"
- Eriocaulon spec. "Sulawesi gras"
- Fissidens fontanus
- Riccardia spec.
- Schismatoglottis roseospatha

Emersed plants:
- Bucephalandra motleyana "Sekadau 1"
- Bolbitis heteroclita "Difformis"
- Bacopa monnieri
- Didiplis diandra
- Limnophila spec. "Vietnam"
- Hottonia palustris
- Hyophila involuta
- Pogostemon erectus
- Rotala indica
- Riccardia spec.
- Taxiphyllum alternans

I hope you like it!

wow! this is stunning.

do you have pictures of the building process?
Very nice work! I hope you continue to post pictures so we can watch the progress. This is beautiful :)
Wow, that's gorgeous. Great scape and amazing plant selection. Nailed the scale...
this is wonderful. would it technically be a paludarium due to there being land mass?

Hi there!

Thanks for the nice feedback!

@scapegoat
In my view it's a riparium, cause I tried to adapt a bank of a little creek. Somewhere in the forest or so. This tank is also a little bit a rivarium, cause I integrated a small stream running down from the upper left corner to the middle of the tank. A Paludarium rather shows a marshy landscape, it isn't so well-defined like the description "Riparium" ;)

You all asked for it, so here are some more pictures of the tank...

The first one shows the final hardscape.
The second one shows the layout right after I've finished the planting.
Pictures three and four show some of the shrimps living in there.

I think you mean Cryptocoryne parva. This is one of my favorite Cryptocorynes, cause it's very small and very undemanding.
Hi there!

Thanks! Glad to see that you like it :D

Thank you. I should've guessed that.

Hi there!

Spring is coming! The bacopa australis is blooming with very nice, little, blue blossoms. And there are still coming more, about 8-10 blossoms till now.
