so i saw a video on the azoo palm filter and i was wondering if those things have trouble with cycling. i have one on my 5 gal but i think i might upgrade to a aquaclear 20 because the palm filter seems a little weak for it and i know the 20 would be able to cycle the tank with no problem. do you guys know anything about the palm filters? the way i have it set up right now is i have a sponge and cut into the middle and put a bunch of biological media in it.

I have the Red Sea Deco Art Nano Filter

It's the same exact filter as the Azoo. I would suggest going with the AquaClear 20.

The nano filter is decent for anything under 2.5G, but anything larger than 3G, I would add extra filter media & many LIVE plants to assist with the filtration otherwise the filter may be slightly unstable even after it cycles.

This also depends on what type of critters you plan to stock your tank with.
