Today I removed the rapidly growing killifish fry from my often abused 5.5g tank. Also today I purchased my first digital camera. So I thought I would post some current photos of the tank after a trim....yes, it was more overgrown this morning.

At present, I'm not sure what is in next in store for this tank. It has been set up in one form or another for 4 years. As you may imagine, the flourite substrate is well aged. The current inhabitants are an undisclosed number of Red Cherry Shrimp.

Ek: The first attachment is a full shot, just doesn't show the corners. I'll do some more experimentation with the camera....still trying to figure out all the settings.

Thanks again for the comments everyone. Yes, the australe killies lay eggs, but unfortunately, they are very adept at eating the fry. I need to set aside a 2.5g as a breeder for these fish so I can raise some fry in isolation.

I found some new residents for the tank: a single pair of A. ogoense. I've been out of town for a week but the tank and new residents have done fine in my absence. I'll try to snap a couple of photos this evening of the overgrown tank and new residents.
